Re: In Memory
For all of you who followed the blog, Thegreekfromdetroit.com, I would like to have you remember that one year ago, March 3, 2014, George left this world of suffering. I have written a tribute that describes the man he was before MS. May all of you find healing, and may a cure be found so that MS w...

The Social Security Tribunal system is a mess
Can you help a few of us out by helping getting the word out? Interesting talk on MS and cognition
Here's 2 vids of Dr. Sarah Morrow speaking about cognitive issues.
She's a wonderful doctor and if you're close to the London, ON MS clinic and have
cognitive issues, get a referral.

Re: Alberta government to improve supports for MS patients
"This cuts through bureaucracy and program criteria to make it a quality of life strategy, as opposed to just a health care strategy,"
The "quality of life" sounds like an encouraging strategy. I hope they can wade thru the politics and do it.

I'm at the SST General Division appeal stage of the game and a year into the fun. After some cog testing in the summer, I got a letter from a neuro and test results that pretty much spell out that I'm 'severe' and 'prolonged'. Is it OK to name drop good neuros? My rose coloured glasses make me hope ...

Hello Cinder, What LR said about Lyme, it should be ruled out. There's tests. Ditto, life's too short. Grudges are bad for your overall health. It doesn't much matter much the MS symptoms. We're all different other than it sucks. But maybe what goes on in the mind of a 49 year old man might have som...

For what it's worth... Pretty much every morning I put about 1/3 tsp of tumeric, a couple shakes of black pepper, mix it up with a splash of olive oil and scarf it down. It doesn't taste like much of anything. Dunno if it does anything good but it doesn't seem to do anything bad. Fits my no harm no ...
