Re: Cerebral atrophy and one UBO. Could these be early MS?
a common neurologist really isn't trained to think outside of the box with problems that you are having, you should get yourself checked into a research hospital even if it costs you an arm and a leg. If you have an hmo like kaiser you could even fly out to california and go to the one they have on ...

no silly i mean after you take long stints of antibiotics your gut flora can be seriously messed up. It might be smart to get an fmt after you take antibiotics.

Re: VARIANT OF COMMON SOIL-BASED PATHOGEN FOUND FOR THE FIRS
doesn't seem likely considering huntergathering tribes eat the intestines and the stomach of animals they kill which contain this said pathogen. So all hunter gatherers would have it, I don't know we'll see how it unfolds. seems more like a commonality more so than a cause.

Re: Fecal Microbiota Transplantation - 3 cases
Whatever causes ms probably effects the gut microbe and causes other symptoms. I actually started having bad stools after my symptom onset, so i'd imagine it could clear up some nutrient deficiencies. What would be more interesting is if they checked up on those patients gut flora in a few years to ...

Re: Scared to talk to doctor, miserable, what is wrong with
This is something you are just going to have to go through while they search for clear indicators that you have ms. No one want's to label ms because of the hardcore drugs and the implications of it, could you imagine if they put you on copaxone and you didn't have ms. If you have some money lying a...

Re: Clean MRI. Help?
Well since you can't try on label treatments maybe you could try some off label ones, go see a naturo path get on a paleo style diet and perhaps get some low dose naltrexone to see if that helps. Also you could try helminths to treat your suspected ms, some of the new clinical trials are saying some...

Re: Question on benign MS
You really have no idea when it's going to go down hill for you honestly. I wouldn't medicate with drugs but you might want to look at other alternatives, diet, exercise, herbs, reservatrol. Or you could even go with whip worm therapy. These are all things you can do besides drugs that won't have an...

Re: Err, is there a "right" way to be sick?
The best thing you can do being sick is to work to the best of your ability and push yourself to continue. Like getting a job and working, if it's too tough at least you tried, I guess don't let the disease rule you still live your life

George HSCT risk factors
I was just wondering what your thoughts were on risk factors after hsct such as When looking to all-cause mortality in a cohort of almost 1500 patients who survived 2 or more years after allo-HSCT, mortality rates remain twice as high as that of the general population among 15-year survivors of allo...

couldn't it be that the protozoa are allowed to flourish due to a failing body and only manifest because of neuro deficit?

Re: Ms and anxiety
It's tied to the disease, i didn't have anxiety until after my first major attack. Try taking a high cbd tincture of marijuana, it helps a ton.
