Leetz, just pointing out that even though Dr Siskin may have his own problems to deal with, he still thinks of others first. I'm praising him. Sorry if you missed that.

Dr Siskin

Folks, this is just an observation: I've watched Dr Siskin on video, and it's clear to me that he has Nystagmus. Whether it is inherited or acquired is not so clear. If it's acquired, he could well have MS himself.
Whatever, he is clearly on our side. Love him.

Official protocol for angioplasty fir pwMS and CCSVI?

Dear Dr Sclafani I have had MS since 1992 and am now secondary progressive, but I had one severe relapse that lead to my diagnosis back in 1992. I had angioplasty done here in NZ on 8 June 2010. I was the guinea pig. Only one other person with MS besides me has been treated for CCSVI in NZ. The mini...

No need for an apology Phil. We need all the facts, good or bad, if we're going to win this shitfight.

Just one minor point to your post - the possible CCSVI death was a patient who had received stent(s) and was on blood thinners. It was the effect of the blood thinners which may have contributed to her death as a result of a stroke, I believe. Phil Thanks Phil, I'd forgotten that bit of info. I gue...

My last post on Tysabri prompted me to check on the other useless and expensive drugs that are peddled to MS patients. This link states that there have been 61 deaths associated with Copaxone: http://www.patientsville.com/medication/copaxone_side_effects.htm No date is given. nor any authority refer...

Folks, I have been told that a Neurologist in Auckland, NZ, supposedly the primo MS specialist there, is a CCSVI denier. He even made the statement that the treatment (angioplasty) "is killing patients". As we all know, there are only two known negative events since the Liberation Treatmen...

Re: the naysayers

It's been said that agents blocking this treatment are actually putting themselves at risk of being sued themselves - it's without doubt discrimmination to deny PwMS a treatment which is routinely performed on others with blocked veins. This approach might be successful, especially in the outrageou...

Folks, my friend Frances and I visited Melbourne Radiology last week, where Dr Julie worked her magic and found that Frances does indeed have stenoses in both left and right IJVs as we hoped. We also managed a quick consult with the lovely Prof T before he went overseas, and he was most helpful and ...

Melbourne

Folks, heard from Dr George Koulouris of Melbourne Radiology (where Dr Julie Gregg is) that they now have the software to do MRV to the Zamboni protocol. They of course have been doing Doppler to the Z protocol for some time now.
Cheers,
Roger

Hi Val, fantastic news. I hope it goes well for you. I'm in NZ and my friend has SPMS. We've been watching the developments in Oz, since it's not only close to us, but seems to be opening up to CCSVI more quickly than other places. Are you able to post details of the clinic where you are having your...
