Hello, It appears the dates are fine and it was in ice packs and all when it was shipped. I suppose I can called the drug company to see but I have not taken another shot since it all went down. I cannot go through that daily. Have either of you ever had any side effects to Copaxone of any kind? Bl...

I am surprised that Dr. Zivandinov and/or Dr. Weinstock Guttman even bothered to read this latest claptrap from Ashton Embry. This is one geologist who has rocks in his head. What I find really sad is, here are two well-respected MS researchers, who have to cowtow to the fringe element due to fundin...

You've got a point there, but don't forget that 100% only applies to the Zamboni five-tests protocol. Most of the reports forget the intracranial doppler or the azigous tests. That's true on the BNAC study. They were unable to visualize the deep cerebral veins in some subjects (not all). Other ultr...

If this is the case, then they are missing are unwilling to say the obvious implication - Dr. Zamboni's original studies on CCSVI were flawed. Why flawed? Then all small studies are flawed. My only point was that if people are going to criticize the BNAC study because it used an ineffective method ...

From "Prevalence, sensitivity, and specificity of chronic cerebrospinal venous insufficiency in MS," Zivandinov, et al: Table e-2 provides the CCSVI classifications for genetically related and unrelated HC. CCSVI classification was not related to genetic status (p=0.627). Moreover, there w...

Sorry to hear about your problems with Copaxone - they sound pretty bad.

I wonder if it's possible you got a bad batch of the medicine, or maybe it got too warm for too long. Is it within the expiration date?

Another negative study in Annals of Neurology (part 2)

Patient X , once again .... 50% + 36% = 86 % What kind of study is that ? The numericals are confusing ...... where - what -who ..... happened to the missing 14 % ????? I noticed when this was brought to your attention ...... you refused to answer my question . On that thread ..... and this one. On...

I had posted this in another thread, but it may have been missed - and for some reason that thread got locked. Interesting study. The authors went to great lengths to replicate Zamboni's methods, and answer criticisms of other studies. Among the measures they took: - they used the same Esaote MyLab-...

Re: Lithium for Progressive MS?

http://www.clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT01259388?term=lithium+multiple+sclerosis&rank=1 I did a quick search to see why they would try Lithium on MS, and found this: http://www.jimmunol.org/content/181/1/338.short And an interesting video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kjC-9mxjvx4 (No need t...

I don't understand a stitch of what you've said, 1eye. Are you still on a starvation protest? What I'm saying is that this puts into question Dr. Zamboni's findings when such a large blinded study couldn't duplicate the prevalence of CCSVI. And it casts doubt on the theory of a congenital nature to...

There seems to be a lot of confusion about which study the article is referencing. It is this one: http://www.neurology.org/content/early/2011/04/13/WNL.0b013e318212a901.abstract This is the BNAC ultrasound study completed last year - it has nothing to do with MRV. This data has already been present...

Re: copaxone injections

I was DX w/RRMS October 2000. This is the third time I have been on copaxone. I have had site reactions/discomfort/'knotting since I started. I did have my needle gauge on 8-9. But to-nite, after reading one of the posts, I changed it to 6-7 and injected at an angle, and it produced a pretty gig lu...

From a quick check of the clinicaltrials.gov site, it looks like the fingolimod trial for PPMS is still ongoing, and they are still recruiting: http://www.clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT00731692?term=%22primary+progressive+multiple+sclerosis%22&rank=2 Also, they are recruiting for the Idebenone ...
