Fiona,
if you could ask the moderators if they could move this forum to above the ccsvi forum because at the bottom, i dont think anyone knows its been created.
only reason i say above is because ucc should be done first before ccsvi surgery, people will notice it above ccsvi forum vs below it
also i dont like just chiropratic treatment, they should change it to Upper Cervical Chiropractic Treatment. what do you think Fiona?

Civickiller,
It was not my idea to have a Chiropractic board, so its location is nothing to do with me.
Anyways I like the distance it has regarding ccsvi board, its more a neutral place, a little island out on its own. I know what you mean though but people will get used to it and where i is.
And the trouble is with the abbreviation UCC, people like me wont know what it stands for, I didnt, I knew about the Atlas, Cervical Spine, subluxations but the term UCC I hadnt a clue (a bit of a Numpty)
You and I know it should be a front runner, but others dont, but that may change in the future eh! Uprightdoc is up there and that is what's important 'cause he is doing good work, a top bloke so to speak.
So really we have to places we can frequent and that is not a bad thing, and hey ! you start at the bottom and work your way up.

Re: placement and name?
i usually always say Upper Cervical Care first, capitalizing the first letter then after i abbreviate UCC
i personally think UCC and CCSVI surgery goes hand in hand because i think the reduced blood flow seen in UCC misalignments causes the body to adapt with the valves not opening fully since it doesnt have to. Dr F said UCC correction studies has shown an increase in blood flow also CSF flow, so my assumption is that a UCC misalignment causes reduced blood flow. thats why i think they should be next to each other

Civickiller,
I know what you are saying, but in my opinion the term ccsvi dominates to such a degree the point is lost. Personally I think distance is a good thing, I prefer the term "restricted blood flow" because it is a more obvious term to all, mention ccsvi and to some and what does that mean, not everybody knows about it, new visitors need things explained simply, not everyone visiting this site will have ms, it might be a friend a relative, son or daughter
