I'm back - and guilty!

Post by BrendaH »

Hi Sharon, Dawn, Chris, Kim and all you other good folk who've been keeping up the exercise!

I must say I'm guilty of not doing regular stuff for the past 2 weeks. I had a conference for work in Nashville in the first week of March and since we had a vacation at the school the last week of Feb., I took advantage to go stay with my parents in Kansas for 10 days. It was a wonderful, unexpected visit - so relaxing!

But, I confess that I didn't force myself to do much...

I've been back for a week, but of course, work has been hell trying to catch up after 2 weeks off, and at home I've been too tired to get on the computer. Jet lag!

I was glad to come back, though, and see how you all are doing. You've still got the knack to keep me motivated and I'll be pulling out my machine tomorrow to work out my arms again. I think I'll try to do some stretches in the morning too, and those leg lifts and toe lifts. A little at a time - my muscles are so out of shape!

Got to run - kids need some homework help :) Chris, let us know how you're doing - hope the 'roids aren't too bad for you this time!

Hugs to you all,
Brenda

:) Brenda, so glad you are back with us.

You didn't tell us you were coming to the states...I think a trip like that would more than do me in.

But, we'll be keeping track of you and your exercise machine. :)

You go girl....a little at a time is very beneficial....Remember that. Glad you had a nice visit. It is difficult to stay in the pattern of a weekly exercise program.....I shoot for three days a week........the other days I concentrate on stretching and crunches and bridges, no weights.

Good luck.......Kim

Spring is here - LDN for the new season?

Post by BrendaH »

I thought I had mentioned that I was taking a trip to the US... Oh well, never mind! It's a beautiful, spring day here - finally! We had snow just 3 days ago, and today it's about 75 and the trees and flowers are blooming! I love spring!

And maybe this evening I can take that little walk around the block - this weather really makes us want to be outdoors since we know it doesn't usually last around here!

I'm seeing my alternative doctor on April 1 and am hoping he's done the reading I sent him on LDN so he can write me a prescription. I've heard so many positive things, I'm looking forward to trying it.

Guess I should check out the LDN forum here to post my experiences soon! Yeah!

Love to you all,
Brenda H.
