Pulled a "Homer"

Post by wilson »

Monday, the nurse dropped by to teach me how to give myself the Avenox injections. We practice the "dart", "anchor", "inject", "pull out", and "press with sterile swab". After practicing with an orange a few times, I decided I was ready. I sat calmly and started to "dart", "anchor", "pull out", and "press with sterile swab" saying the steps as I went along. Nurse said I did a great job the first time but forgot one minor thing... inject. "DoH!!!!!!!!!!" As I did the procedure over again, I was thinking that I won't forget that step again.

Wilson, that really was funny!

I've decided life with MS is quite a few Homers myself! I used to call them brain farts, now, who knows, I like the idea of Homers tho!

Take care. It gets easier!
